I'm wondering, does this bible stay closed until you want to open it? The clasp doesn't look like it works well. I don't want to have it hang open an break. Thanks L Answer:
Hello, thankyou for the question. Pretty much all the opening charms we sell, will stay closed until you physically open. With all of them we adjust so that they are not too tight and not too loose, well in our opinion anyway. The only drawback in having clasps made in sterling silver, is that they are relatively soft. I say soft as sterling silver is 925 parts of pure silver per 1000 parts metal. In time the clip will weaken slightly and it will open more easily. This can be rectified by bending slightly. Having painted the gloomy picture above, most customers find the charms close adequately and, so far, we have never had a complaint. The only exception was sliding toothpicks that were poorly made and actually got tighter until you couldn't move them. If we can help any further then please let us know Kind regards Simon
